Over 30 years of business
Gold River Flooring Companies was founded under the name Gold River Floors in Rancho Cordova by Jeff and Meridith Krekelberg in 1991. Six years later, Gold River Floors joined Carpet One Floor & Home, the largest cooperative of floor covering retailers in North America with over 1,000 stores worldwide, and became Gold River Carpet One Floor & Home. In 2006, Gold River Flooring Gallery was opened in Rocklin and two years later joined Flooring America, a cooperative of more than 500 independent retailers in North America, and is now called Gold River Flooring America. The showroom moved in 2019 from Rocklin to the current location in Folsom. In 2013, Sacramento Flooring Carpet One Floor & Home opened to better serve customers in the City of Sacramento and Elk Grove communities. In 2021, the Sacramento showroom moved to the current Power Inn Road location and Gold River Flooring Companies celebrated its 30th anniversary.
